Meteorological office on Thursday forecast widespread heavy snowfall for the earthquake-affected areas during the next three days. Spokesmen of Met Office informed that a strong weather system has stared to develop over Pakistan, which is likely to produce widespread snow over the mountains above 5,000 feet height.
The intensity of snow may be high at times in most parts of Galliat, Hazara and Kashmir, he said.
Intermittent rain/snow with the chances of landslides is likely to disrupt the rescue operations in the quake hit areas including Muzaffarabad, Rawlakot, Bagh, Neelum Valley, Chikothi, Balakot, Mansehra, Batgram, Kohistan, Kaghan, Naran and adjoining areas.
